Verify a Certificate
Check an EES inspection certificate, equipment sticker or training certificate in seconds, by its number or by scanning its QR code.
Numbers are checked live against EES records. A match confirms that a record exists and shows whether it is valid; always check that the details match the equipment or the person in front of you.

Inspection certificates
Certificates issued by EES after the third-party inspection of cranes, lifting equipment and heavy equipment.
Where to find the number: The certificate number (for example INSP/2026/10/0001) is printed on the certificate. Its QR code is near the signatures and stamp.

Equipment stickers
The inspection sticker fixed to the equipment shows that it was inspected and links it to its certificate.
Where to find the number: The sticker number (for example STK/00123) and a QR code are printed on the sticker.

Training certificates and ID cards
Certificates and ID cards issued to operators and riggers who complete an EES course.
Where to find the number: The certificate number (for example EES/ID/0001) is printed on the certificate and on the ID card, each with a QR code.

Open your camera
Point your phone camera at the QR code. If nothing happens, open a QR scanner app.
Open the link
Make sure the address belongs to eesksa.com before you open it. Do not open links that point to any other website.
Read the result
Look for the green Verified banner and check that the details match the equipment or the person in front of you.
Scanning shows the full name of the client or trainee. Typing a number shows it partly hidden, to protect privacy.
Number not found?
A missing result does not always mean a problem. Work through these steps.
Check the number
Type it exactly as printed, including the slashes. Look-alike characters such as 0 and O, or 1 and I, are different.
Try the QR code or another number
A certificate, a sticker and a training certificate each carry their own number. Try each one you have, or scan the QR code printed on the document.
