Forklift Operator Training & Certification in Saudi Arabia
A forklift operator training and certification course for warehouse, port, plant and yard staff, with classroom theory and practical driving, finishing with a written test, a driving assessment on the truck class the candidate actually uses and a competency card. We run it at our Dammam base or on your site, and we explain how TVTC requirements apply to your project before you book.
Scope of Work
- ✓Forklift types and parts: counterbalance, reach and pallet trucks, mast, forks, chains, attachments and the capacity data plate
- ✓Load centre, rated capacity and stability: how the stability triangle, load height and attachments change what the truck can safely carry
- ✓Daily pre-use checks of forks, mast, chains, tyres, brakes, steering, horn, lights, seat belt and leaks, with defect reporting and tagging out unsafe trucks
- ✓Safe driving and load handling: travelling with the load low and tilted back, ramps and gradients, stacking, racking and loading trailers
- ✓Pedestrian and site rules: speed limits, junctions, blind spots, segregated routes, reversing, exclusion zones and visibility in dust or low light in busy yards and ports
- ✓Battery charging, LPG and diesel refuelling safety, fire risk and correct parking and shutdown
- ✓Written test on theory and site rules, plus a practical driving and stacking assessment on the candidate's truck class

- ✓ISO 3691-1 (industrial trucks, safety requirements and verification)
- ✓OSHA 29 CFR 1910.178 (powered industrial trucks, including operator training and evaluation)

Is TVTC approved forklift training available in KSA, and is your course covered?＋
Training certificates used in the Kingdom must meet TVTC requirements, and some employers and clients ask for them specifically. Ask us for the current approval status and reference for this course before you book, and we will tell you plainly what the certificate does and does not cover.
How do I get a forklift license in Saudi Arabia?＋
For work inside a warehouse, plant or yard, the forklift license that employers and clients usually ask for is an operator competency certificate and card issued after training and a practical assessment, followed by your employer or the site authorising the operator to drive on site. It is a different document from a road driving license. We confirm which certificate your client will accept before you enrol.
How long does the forklift operator course take?＋
Duration depends on the candidate's experience, the truck class and the client's scheme. A new operator needs classroom theory and supervised driving time, while an experienced driver may only need a refresher and the assessment. Group size also matters because every candidate needs time on the truck. We confirm the programme when you request a quote.
Can you train and assess operators at our own warehouse or yard?＋
Yes. We deliver at our Dammam base or on your site, using your own trucks where they are in safe condition so the assessment reflects the equipment operators really drive. For Jubail, Riyadh, Jeddah, Yanbu and other locations we confirm mobilisation with you.
