FAQs
What is a Rigger Level 3 or rigging supervisor, and who needs one?+
Definitions vary by client scheme, but Level 3 is commonly the rigging or lifting supervisor who plans and controls lifts, including critical lifts. Whether you need one depends on your client's lifting requirements and the complexity of your lifts.
Where can I take a rigger level 3 training course in Riyadh?+
We can deliver in Riyadh for a group, at our Dammam base or on your site. Tell us your location, headcount and the client scheme, and we confirm dates, trainer mobilisation and the programme.
Do I need Level 2 first, and what experience should a supervisor have?+
Prerequisites depend on the scheme. Supervisors are expected to have solid rigging and lifting experience; we check this at enrolment and recommend Level 2 first where calculations or rigging planning are not yet secure.
Does Level 3 certification mean I can approve critical lifts on my own?+
No. The certificate shows training and assessment, not authority. Who may approve a critical lift is set by your company and the client's procedure, such as the current revision of Saudi Aramco GI 7.030 on sites that apply it, and engineering input may still be needed.
